...and celebrated my bday early.
couldn't resist stopping by one of my favorite boutiques, OAK, to check out this helmut lang dress that had caught my eye a couple of weeks ago. ended up purchasing that AND an opening ceremony dress.

its such a cool material, a coated linen that makes me feel like i'm wearing canvas. very artsy and would be perfect to wear on a museum date or opening exhibition.

didn't think this dress would look good on me because i've never owned anything in this kind of silhouette. was pleasantly surprised! therefore, had to have it.

that helmut lang dress...wow. i have the perfect bag in mind for this dress. do you remember chanels' 2006 s/s collection with the bags that resembled things, like old vinyl records or a cassette tape?

hi i came across your blog a while a go and have been following your style for a while! you are easily one of my fashion icons. and i feel kind of stalker-y because i was in brooklyn last weekend at a crafts fair and i swear i saw you there! what caught my eye first though (aside from your usual well-dressed self!) was the tattoo on your back (or i think it was you...). i was wondering if you had any up-close pictures of the design of your tat.
